Why breakfast is the most important meal of the day?

Breakfast is known to be the most important meal of the day. Unfortunately, most of the people do not know or ignore its value. Why is it so crucial for human body to consume breakfast?

According to Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, “People who skip breakfast are unlikely to make up their daily requirement for some vitamins and minerals that a simple breakfast would have provided.”

First, right breakfast does provide the energy to start the day. People who do not have breakfast are very likely to get hungry before the lunchtime, and snack on unhealthy food. Also, it helps to control healthy body weight.

Good breakfast should consist of: grain, milk products and fruits or vegetables. Since in the morning it is hard to make time for eating breakfast because of busy lifestyle, you should go grocery shopping in advance for an easy “to go” breakfast such as granola bars, fruits, yogurt, etc.

In my personal experience, breakfast makes me feel concentrated and productive in my daily activities. I feel energized and fueled, and it is very important in order to be successful in school.
