Coca Cola as a successful organization in international business environment

I would like to go with the example of Coca Cola. We are aware that it is a big multinational company that has its presence all over the world. Coca Cola has been in the international market and so successful due to many reasons. For example they take a special consideration of the country culture when they are doing marketing campaigns. They use celebrities from the same countries in their advertisement in which the advertisement campaigns are running. This helps Coca Cola identify their products with the local people.

Among some of the strategies Coca Cola adopted to was to simplify their company (Inclusion, 2016). They looked they made structural changes to their operations to make them simple, faster and efficient. They change their working environment to suit the needs of their employees for better productivity. Coca Cola has also been investing in other brands like Suja which is a premium organic brand. Coca Cola has been trying its best to emerge the most green and calorie efficient beverage in the world.

In my opinion, there are still areas where Coca Cola needs to do more. For example, according to Gaither & Austin (2016), the campaigns run by Coca Cola related to its calorie efficiency may not be in accordance to the calorie status of their beverages. They have identified that Coca Cola need to be honest with their customers and provide honest information, without any twist, regarding the amount of calories they use in different beverages.
