Describe the restructuring strategy used by Kraft Foods to turn around company performance.
The restructuring strategy of the Kraft Foods included dividing the company in to two units. These two units consisted of global snacks business and a North American grocery unit. Kraft Foods had realized that it is not operationally possible for it to keep these two unites together. Therefore, for better management and performance, they separated these two units. After the restructuring was done, both units gained performance and started to perform well in their respective niche.
