These feelings and emotions are also often replicated in scenarios where the same reaction could only be arrived from a person’s parents or significant others. In this manner, the adult ego state refers to all concepts and emotions taken from parents as children are growing up. The adult ego state refers to the present time for a person and the attitudes as well as feelings and emotions that a person directs from his present experience rather than from his experiences, feelings, and emotions from the past. In this manner, he adult ego state is not influenced by parents or elements from the past, but by elements of the existing time for a particular person and from the present time of a person. The Child ego state is the third ego state.
