Ethics are the principles and values that an individual uses to perform their task and duties and make sure they are following certain rules. The codes and standards of the organizational an individual ethics can be different but all of these ethics work under the same principle that guides the business, employees, organization and the program to work for the benefit of all parties. The ethical philosophy of the business is used to make sure the business task and activities can affect the productivity, reputation and the business bottom line.

The ethical behavior guidelines definition includes four factors. The first factor is the leadership ethics that involve the leadership abilities and the leadership qualities to be able to do things effectively but also under ethical guidelines. The cods of ethical leaders determine the acceptable behavior at workplace and the discipline procedures that allow the organization to understand their ethical standards. The second factor is the employee ethics. The ethical behaviors amongst the employees determine that employees work honestly and complete their task with proper conduct and they respect and value other people at work as well. The employee ethics also include that employees do not steal from the company or hide important information, the employees do not use the company resources to their benefit and to any other that may affect the business negatively. The codes of employee’s ethics are determined in terms of the quality of work and the performance of the organization.

The third factor in the ethical behavior guidelines is the ethical organizational culture which determines the combined factors of the leadership and employees forming culture in which adaptability of the ethical behaviors and understanding of the codes and standards of ethical behavior are easily understandable. The fourth factor is the benefit that is achieved from the use of ethical behaviors in an organization. This factor is also used as a motivation for employee and leadership to follow the ethical behavior guidelines developed and provided by the organization. The purpose of the use of ethical guidelines is to maintain the outcomes of the ethical behaviors in best of organization and the employees. The positive and healthy corporate culture following ethical values is competitive and more attractive to social representation.
