Hot wheel is the company and organization, which made scale models of different automobiles for the better representation and illustration. Presently, many automobile constructors and companies have hired the hot wheels to use their services. Besides the act that, hot wheeling was originally set up with the intension to cater young audience, but regardless of this fact it has gained equal popularity and opportunity in adult business such as automobiles.

The purpose of making advertisements and scale models of cars in the advertisement tenacity is to present a more striking, eye-catching and mesmerizing view of the automobiles. It has been established by presenting a more absorbing image of any product will effect quite positively and favorably on the minds of customers. By giving more attractive account of some product like scale modeling of automobiles will produce a hypnotic effect on the minds so the customers of the respective industry? Besides that, it will also arise the desire and emotion of craving for the product. Another purpose of the advertisements is to make the consumers of the automobile industry aware of the availability and launching of the product. In addition to that, scale modeling of cars from hot wheels also is economical, attractive and more convenient way of advertising. As, scale modeling will make the advertisement more colorful and desirable. It is convenient as some time modeling of the car is not possible or convenient. The scale modeling advertisements are produced by using the original design of the product. Moreover, the hot wheels advertisements are also economical for the company or organization.

In addition to these, the advertisements of the cars by hot wheels will also convince and assure the customers, the product of the company is made by keeping the convenience and needs of its consumers. The advertisements will make the customers realize that they need this product because it will make their life easier, comfortable and envious. In addition to that, the advertisements will also attract more customers as compared to any other form of marketing.

The advertisement industry tends to take into account the stereotypical assumptions and clichéd approaches. Such as, if the hot wheel company is making the advertisement about the car, then they will depict that the cars are for the males and in their ads the audience will witness that there will always be man driving the car and a female which is the girlfriend is standing by the side or accompanying the men. Now, this is a stereotypical approach that cars are made for men and cars are for men to drive them, women’s are used to sit in the car only. Whereas, if we look around, we will witness that there are as much men drivers as are the females. This shows that the assumption that advertisement industry also uses and relies on the stereotypical approaches. Another relevant example would be of the baby care or baby related products. In the advertisements that are related to the baby care products there have always been shown the mother with the baby. It will be a very rare case to find the father in the advertisement while taking care of the baby. No these advertisements are also using the stereotypical and the conventional approach of the society that it is the responsibility of the mothers to take care of the needs and problems of the child and this is the reason that all those advertisements are mother centered. Now, this approach is not only stereotypical and wrong, but the advertisement is also promoting this approach and attitude. In the present day society, where females have stepped out of their typical and conventional roles and they are shouldering every responsibility with male species and with their husbands, males are also helping and shouldering the household responsibilities with their wives. Now, advertising and media industry needs to promote this side of the picture, but not the stereotypical approach. This example also shows that advertisements also depicts and conveys the assumed and defined roles of the society.

The ad selected for this paper is also related to the social and political climate of the society. The automobile add by the hot wheels represents the social hierarchical structure of the society and also reflects the social roles of the man and women in a society. That only a man is powerful to drive a powerful automobile, whereas the role of women is to present itself. The possible long term consequences of such advertising approaches are that such ads will promote and give rise to the stereotypical approaches in the society. In addition to that, these ads will also make the population psychologically think that it is best suited if a man drives a car as he knows more about the car.  Such is the way in which the advertisements can affect the society. This add has drawn my attention towards this social issue because in the hot wheels ads the women are shown as the things that signifies the hotness and it is considered and presented as a thing which should be presented along with the car. The woman shown in this ad is lying down on the front portion of the car signifying her role, whereas; the male in the other picture of the same ad has been shown in a more powerful condition. He is not presenting itself but rather standing with certain expressions. Now, the standing position of the man and its specific expressions can be interpreted as the gestures of the empowerment. This leads us to the issue that why women have been shown in a manner that is inappropriate and made her look like a showpiece, unlike man? The answer can be traced in the stereotypical approach of the society.

In this research, I have analyzed and reached to the conclusion that the advertising concepts also have a certain impact and psychological effect on the minds of individuals. They not only represent the societal approach but can also be used in developing the different approach within the society.
