The theories of change management (based on the Lewin model) add insight to how users deal with change. How would you deal with change?

The Lewin Model consists of three stages. First is unfreeze, meaning decreasing resistance to change and increasing driving forces for change. Then is to make a move and take action to make the desired change with other people involved. And the final stage it to refreeze or define new ways and make permanent changes.  I believe in general people may not move in a step wise manner as Lewin has described. People tend to jump into the final stage and may not be interested in thinking a lot about take in to account the importance of other people.

I personally tend to start from the second stage when it comes to change. I try to involve other people. In reality I should start from the first stage and decrease the resisting forces. But then, they may or may not be in my control.
