why is it important to use logical and physical data flow diagram (DFDs) to graphically depict data movement for humans and systems

Discuss why is it important to use logical and physical data flow diagram (DFDs) to graphically depict data movement for humans and systems in an organization. Is it worthwhile to share them with users? Why or why not?

A DFD or a data flow diagram is the graphical representation of the system design itself. It is a helpful to understand the flow of different processes in an organization and what technological or human factors make that flow possible. If fact it also allows the system administrators, analyst and the users to understand the relationship between two or more independent processes. A DFD is important because when a logical flow of the system is available in the form of a DFD, short comings become visible and rectification can be done on time.

I don’t think so that the users needs to know everything beyond a certain point about the organization. I would not suggest sharing a DFD with a user.
