Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to introduce and propose our Weight Watcher’s five-weeks weight loss program for your employees. Weight Watchers have contributed to the weight loss of millions of people since it was founded in 1963. We have an outstanding reputation in the dietary industry. We have provided this program to hundreds of organizations and there have been enormous results in the productivity of the employees of those organizations. The program would consist of psychological support and nutritional counselling. Following are the details of the schedule and activities of the proposed program.

The program would consist of sessions that are to be held during lunch hour. As many as possible employees will be encouraged to participate in it. All those who enroll for the program would be subdivided into groups of 25. Our professional Weight Watcher trainer would head each group.   Participants would meet for an hour each day to share low-calorie lunches, prepared by the GE cafeteria using Weight Watchers recipes. During their meal enrollees would get a pep talk from the group leader and share their own experiences.

After lunch each group would take a brisk 15-minute walk before returning to work.  In addition, employees would be encouraged to an hour each day working out in the GE gym before or after work.   Weight Watchers trainers would be on hand at these times to run aerobics classes and advise participants on exercise programs.

The seven-week program would culminate with a ceremony honoring participants who had lost the most pounds and inches.  The grand prize would be a one-week trip for two to Hawaii.  General Electric would pay Weight Watchers a fee of $50 dollars for each employee who enrolled in the program and would cover the costs of the awards ceremony and the prizes.

I believe that you would not regret providing Weight Watcher the opportunity for the said program. You would definitely see positive changes in the working patterns of the employees who participate in the proposed weigh loss program.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further information about the program.

Thank you for your precious time and consideration

Best Regards,
