What you think to be the best time of day to call on the following individuals?

Although there is no hard and fast rule, list what you think to be the best time of day to call on the following individuals? What is the worst time of day to call each individual? What is the worst time of year to call each individual?

  1. A college bookstore manager (to sell backpacks).

Best time: Evening or early morning

Worst time: Middle of the day, or times the bookstore will be busy like say from 10-6

Worst time of the year would be the start of the semesters because at that point they have what they need already and will be too busy to deal with calls and inquiries.

  1. A manager at an automotive glass replacement company (to sell a new type of glue).

Best time would be later in the day

Worst time would be early morning up until about 3-4 since that is when they will presumably be busy

Time of the year: I do not see why the time of the year would be relevant in this industry.

  1. An apartment complex manager (to sell a new mowing system).

Best time of the day would be during business hours in general and the worst would be after hours since presumably there would be no one there. The worst time of the year would be one in which the mowing equipment would already have been purchased that were needed.

  1. A heating contractor (to sell a new model of heating system).

Best time of the day would be the business hours and the worst would be outside of business hours and the worst time of the year would be the season in which the decision to make the purchase would have already been past being made.

Critical decision making is very important for different situations. In a situation when I entered in office and the prospect call me to have seat. In this situation I realize that there was the giant inflated purple ball and there were not chair. It was very unusual but I realize that the prospect is also seating on the sane giant ball so I would probably sit on that giant ball for making conversation with the prospect.
